Q Is Gaana Free?

Yes, Gaana is completely free for listening to music from a base of over 3 crore songs. You just need to be on WiFi or mobile data to enjoy your favorite songs.
Free streaming will be supported by ads but you can get rid of ads by subscribing to our premium service Gaana+, which also provides exciting features like unlimited downloads and access to HD music.

Q Will Gaana work globally?

You can access Gaana+ on any network and across the globe. Wherever you go we will be your music partner.

Q Do I need the internet to use Gaana?

A basic internet connection is required to listen to songs, use general features of Gaana and to download songs. You can listen to songs even on low internet by setting the streaming quality to ''Low''.

Q Can I buy or download songs on Gaana?

You can download songs from Gaana by subscribing to our premium service Gaana+. With Gaana+ you can download unlimited songs and listen to them offline till the subscription is active.

The downloaded songs remain in the Gaana App only and cannot be transferred to any other device.

Q Can I move the downloaded songs to local storage/SD card?

No, the songs are restricted to be within the app as they are exclusively provided to us by the labels

Q How can I change app language?

Now you can see your Gaana app in any of the 10 given language option. To set your choice of language, please follow these steps -
* Open the Gaana app menu
* Tap on "DISPLAY SETTINGS" from the list, then "App Display Language".
* Select the language you wish to read your app in and tap on "Continue"
Gaana app communicates in the language you want.

Q If I lose/change my phone, can I move my paid Gaana account to a new device?

Getting your subscription on any new device is very easy. You just have to install the app and login with the same credentials on which subscription was purchased.

You would need to download the songs again on the new device. Your playlists and favorites will have all your songs intact, which you can use to download again.

Q Why am I not able to login?

If you are not able to login on Gaana then please ensure the following checks -
You are trying to log in with the same email id that you have used for signing up on Gaana. If you have signed up via Facebook/Google/Mobile number then please use the same for login.
If you have signed up using the email option then make sure that you are entering the correct password. If you don't remember the password then you can reset it from the app or website.
Login failed could be due to fluctuation in network. Please ensure that your internet connection is strong.

Q I have paid through ITUNES, cannot see an option to cancel renewal on the app?

For ITUNES renewal can only be cancelled from your itunes account, whichever you have used while subscribing. Click on the respective mode of your initial subscription below and follow the instructions to cancel the auto-renewal.

Go to Settings > iTunes & App Store.
Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen.
Tap View Apple ID. You might need to sign in or use Touch ID.
Tap Subscriptions.
Tap the subscription that you want to manage.
Use the options to manage your subscription.

Q How to cancel AUTO-RENEWAL on the app?

You can cancel your subscription using the below steps.
Login to the Gaana App>>profile icon (Top right corner)>>Profile>>Turn the toggle off on subscription page to avoid any future deduction.

NOTE: If the profile page says, “renew now” it means subscription renewal is not active.

Q How can I get a refund?

Subscription purchases are not refundable. Once you cancel the renewal, you can still enjoy your subscription benefits for the rest of your billing cycle.

Q I have paid through GOOGLE PLAYSTORE, cannot see an option to cancel renewal on the app?

For Google renewal can only be cancelled from your Google account, whichever you have used while subscribing. Click on the respective mode of your initial subscription below and follow the instructions to cancel the auto-renewal.

Launch the Google Play Store app.
Tap Menu -> My Apps -> Subscriptions and tap on the app of the subscription you'd like to cancel.
Alternatively, tap Menu -> My Apps -> Tap the app of the subscription you'd like to cancel -> Tap the app's details page.

Q Why is some content showing as “Unavailable” or “Not available in your region” or "Gaana+ Only"?

Sorry for the restrictions but some contents are available based on geographical location and type of users. International music is not available outside India and few songs are exclusive for a certain time period only for Gaana+ users.

Q Is Gaana Special only for paid users?

No, Gaana special section can be accessed by anyone. There is no restriction on it :)

Download option would not be available with the free version, you can only stream the episodes online.
