BYOP stands for Bring Your Own Phone. With TracFone's Bring Your Own Phone program, you can get TracFone service on your current phone as long as it is compatible. Compatible phones include: GSM Unlocked phones, AT&T-compatible phones, T-Mobile-compatible phones, Verizon-compatible phones, and some CDMA Technology compatible phones. To check if your phone is compatible, select the "GET STARTED" option at get.tracfone.com/bring-your-own-phone.
To check if your phone is compatible, select the "GET STARTED" option at get.tracfone.com/bring-your-own-phone, and follow the onscreen prompts. If your phone is compatible, the process will allow you to register it. If your phone is not compatible, you will receive a message indicating so as soon as you enter the IMEI or MEID and zip code.
If your phone is an Unlocked GSM Phone or compatible with AT&T, use the AT&T Compatible SIM.
If your phone is an Unlocked GSM Phone or compatible with T-Mobile, use the T-Mobile Compatible SIM.
If your phone is an Unlocked GSM Phone or compatible with Verizon, use the Verizon Compatible SIM.
If you have a CDMA LTE compatible phone use the CDMA Compatible LTE SIM.
Select "ACTIVATE YOUR PHONE" at https://get.tracfone.com/bring-your-own-phone and follow the steps. Make sure to select the correct option if you are transferring your line. Please note that you will need a TracFone Airtime Card or credit or debit card to activate your service. Remember to select your SIM card if you need one, and register your phone if you have a CDMA-compatible phone before activation.
